WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 4 AND 7 DAY TRIP?

The 7 day trip will include 1.5 days in the beginning with our Honduran Brave Christians Network. Participants will get to learn from this network and about 100 other Hondurans through worship, discussion, and experiential learning.

In addition, the 7 day trip will have the opportunity to participate in more experiential learning activities visiting communities, government officials, and taking a deeper dive into the work of AJS.

Finally, the 7 day trip will have the opportunity to participate in several cultural activities and excursions outside of Tegucigalpa. This may include a visit to a colonial town, visit to a park overlooking Tegucigalpa, hiking in a National forest, and visiting the local market.

How much does it cost?

To reserve a spot, there is a deposit of $100/person. The daily rates of the trip are:
-$190 per person (Single room rate)
-$150 per person (Double room rate)

Do I need to book my own hotels?

No. Your accommodation is included in the conference fee (see above). AJS will book the lodging for the nights of your stay during the dedication and conference.

Do I need to book my flights?

Yes. Guests are in charge of booking their own airline tickets. If you would like assistance, please fill out the contact form or email us at info@ajs-us.org and we would be happy to help you.

Is transportation covered?

Transportation will be provided to and from the airport during the conference, as well as your daily transport from your hotel to the conference.  We will be providing rented vehicles with hired drivers during the week. You will be picked up in the morning and dropped off in the evening. If you are planning on doing any activities or excursions outside of the conference, you will need to arrange transportation.

Are meals included?

Yes. All of your meals will be included, either at your hotel or the event (additionally, there will be some light refreshments during the conference). Any meals outside of the conference are not included in your conference fee.

Typically, in January temperatures reach a high of 80°F (27°C) and a low of mid to high 50°F (10°C) during the night. It can be quite cool in the evenings, so bring a sweater or light jacket. Tegucigalpa is typically sunny in January.
